We worked with Comisión de Cuenca de Los Ríos Amecameca y La Compañía, a coalition of civil society associations, academics, landowners, and other experts to halt the desertification of the Mexico City watershed in the Amecameca basin. The Comisión developed a comprehensive and highly technical plan for saving the basin while still providing water to Mexico City. Our video translated this difficult-to-read report into an advocacy tool that government officials can understand. The Comisión is using the video to encourage their communities and policy makers to adopt the plan.
